Telederm Outreach™ is founded upon the belief that each person has the right to health care access. Countless regions in our world lack access to adequate dermatology care.
Teledermatology utilizes modern telecommunication devices to allow for dermatological consultations to occur from virtually anywhere in the world. As a visually-oriented specialty with a low mortality rate and high occurrence of chronic conditions, dermatology is well-suited for this novel approach to healthcare delivery
WHY WE ARE HERE
Adequate healthcare still remains beyond reach for around half of the world population due to access and cost barriers. Numerous devoted organizations and medical professionals seek to fill this gap, yet barriers to care still include traveling expenses and limited trip durations alongside lack of access to specialized knowledge in various fields.
In the field of dermatology, Telederm Outreach™ seeks to bridge this gap through high-tech, community-oriented, collaboration-driven global partnerships with international organizations and local health systems.
