LYNN MCKINLEY-GRANT, MD, MA
Dr. McKinley-Grant, a graduate of Harvard Medical School, is a Board-certified dermatologist, author, researcher, and lecturer practicing dermatology at Howard University, Washington, D.C. She currently an Associate Professor of Dermatology at Howard University School of Medicine. She has been listed in Washingtonian Magazine since 1992 as one of the “Top Doctors” in the area, as selected by other physicians.
Dr. McKinley-Grant is the senior editor of VisualDx: Essential Dermatology in Pigmented Skin. She is also the President of the Skin of Color Society and on the Board of Advisors for Health Volunteers Overseas. She has authored many chapters in the textbook Dermatology for Skin of Color, Paul Kelly MD and Susan C. Taylor MD, (2nd edition, 2015).
As an innovator in medicine, early on in her medical career, Dr. McKinley-Grant worked at the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Gabon, Africa. She founded the Bellevue Hospital Hansen’s Disease (Leprosy) clinic in New York City. Dr. McKinley-Grant continues to be passionate about new ideas that improve the quality of health care and decrease healthcare costs.

ADAM FRIEDMAN, MD, FAAD
Adam Friedman, MD, FAAD is a Professor of Dermatology and serves as Residency Program Director and Director of Translational Research in the Department of Dermatology at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Dr. Friedman completed his undergraduate training at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with Distinction in Dermatologic Research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
Dr. Friedman has received multiple awards, including the American Dermatologic Association Young Leader Award and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Cutting Edge Research Award. He has also been voted to New York Times Magazine’s Super Doctors® Rising Stars each year since 2013.
He has published more than 120 papers and three textbooks. Dr. Friedman lectures extensively in both national and international forums, and serves on a myriad of committees and advisory boards. Dr. Friedman has appeared on television news programs such as Good Morning America and Fox news, and has been quoted in numerous leading publications such as Vogue and Dr. Oz The Goodlife.

NOEL MAURER, PHD
Noel Maurer is an associate professor of International Affairs and International Business at the George Washington University and a former associate professor at Harvard Business School.
Maurer earned his Bachelors in Arts in 1992 and Ph.D. in 1997 from Stanford University. Between 1998 and 2004 he worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at ITAM, a university in Mexico City. Maurer also worked at an NGO dedicated to helping small rural communities in Chiapas find new business opportunities.
His areas of expertise include political economics, economic history, Latin America, and political instability and violence. He is the author is several peer-reviewed articles and books, including The Power and the Money, The Politics of Property Rights, Mexico since 1980, and The Big Ditch (Princeton).

NAZLIN BHIMJI
Nazlin Bhimji is the Director of Programs at The Global Good Fund and manages The Global Good Fund Fellowship Program. She has over 15 years of global experience working with non-profit organizations, businesses and international organizations on business development, organizational strategy, program development and CSR and sustainability. She co-founded a women-focused business in Kenya, where she managed operations and finance. She also worked at Women Thrive Worldwide, a leading advocate for global women’s issues, and served in various positions including Acting Executive Director.
Bhimji has an Executive MBA from the George Washington University, an MA in International Development from American University, a BA in International Studies and French from Ohio Wesleyan University and is a Certified Sustainability Practitioner.

SHARON ALLEN
Sharon Allen is the co-founder and Executive Director of World Telehealth Initiative (WTI). As a recognized leader in international philanthropic telehealth, Sharon is often invited to speak at notable conferences, including American Telehealth Association, Magee Women’s Research Summit, InTouch’s Telehealth Innovator’s Forum, AAFP Global Health Summit, and more. She has traveled extensively to evaluate the needs of under-resourced healthcare clinics and communities worldwide. She guided the WTI's creation of an innovative model that leverages remote philanthropic physicians to provide face-to-face live care via telehealth.
Previously, Sharon managed a successful distribution corporation for 25 years, first as Human Resources Manager, then as Director of Accounting and finally as CEO. She grew revenues from $20 to $30M while achieving record profits and leading a team of 75 employees. Over the years, Sharon has served as Board Member and Financial Chair for the AAPLE Foundation and volunteered in non-profit organizations, such as Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Dream Foundation & Children’s Creative Project.Sharon earned her teaching credential and BS in nutrition from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

IPSHITA MANDAL-JOHNSON, PHD
Dr. Mandal-Johnson is currently a lecturer at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She completed her undergraduate education in Biotechnology at the University of Auckland and completed her PhD at the University of Cambridge in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology.
After her PhD, she was Guest Lecturer at the University of Cambridge, after which she pursued a position in Management Consulting with McKinsey & Company, where she managed digital and healthcare transformation projects for leading tech, banking, government and healthcare institutions.
She has received numerous recognitions for her work, including St. Gallen Leader of Tomorrow, 40 Under 40 by the University of Auckland, and 50 Movers and Shakers in BioBusiness.
She is passionate on the intersection between innovation (technology and implementation) and the US Fulbright Award. She has several publications and has built 12 startups over the past decade, working with micro and large institutions in healthcare, agriculture, technology, banking and consumer goods through government, academia, private sector and not-for-profits.
