KAUSHIK VENKATESH, MBA
Director & Co-Founder
Kaushik Venkatesh is an MPH candidate at The George Washington Milken Institute School of Public Health. He received his MBA from the GW School of Business in 2020, and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research Practice from the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2019. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Biological Science in 2018.
A strong believer in patient and personal advocacy, he has founded several other non-profits: Jefferson Speech and Debate is a non-profit devoted to teaching public speaking and self-advocacy for middle school students, at-risk students, and homeless youth across the US; Aldercare is a US-based nonprofit using technology and personal connection to optimize elderly patient care.
Kaushik has also been authored in numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications in topics including dermatology, stem cells, regenerative medicine, kidney transplantation, venous thromboembolism, and health disparities. He has researched in labs across North America, including the University of Alberta, The George Washington University, the National Institutes of Health, University of Pittsburgh, Georgetown University, and Howard University. He is also a Board Member of the Loudoun Health Council, optimizing the public health system of 400k Loudoun County, VA residents.
